HOW ENVY MAKES PEOPLE TERRIBLE

Galatians 5:19, 21
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these: Envyings…...that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Envy is sin which can get you into trouble.  When you are jealous it means you have fallen prey to one of these cankers
Ø  You look into people’s lives and see their lives as better than yours
Ø  You wish you had what that person has
Ø  You feel terrible about your own situation and you don’t like who you are
Ø  You feel hurt and are disappointed about yourself
Ø  Perhaps you think God has been unfair to you.

Blessing People is the biblical way to become a king

There is no special day for blessing people, your work is what
you use to bless people. Blessing people is a commandment

Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it. Numbers 23:20
And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all. Mark 10:44

Frequently we have sought our own success by offering services to people. But the bible tells us to truly bless people with what we have got. Being of service to people should be our major concern before the money, because if we help people very well the money will follow.

The 2 in 1 Formula for Greatness

Most of us want to be great and we employ several tactics to achieve this end. Yet it seems our attitude tend to drive greatness away from us. I hear most people say, ‘you want me to help you but what have you done for me?’  This implies that before I respond to you say attend your birthday, you should already have attended mine. This attitude is seen mostly in those who seem to be in privileged positions. This is wrong.

The Formula 1

Jesus called them and said to them, "You know that those who are recognized as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those in high positions use their authority over them.
But it is not this way among you. Instead whoever wants to be great among you must be your servant. Mark 10:43

The Secret to Victory in 2014; Have a People Policy

There is a very powerful law in associations and that has the power to multiply the prosperity of a person. That law comes from the scripture that says, ‘one shall chase a 1000 and two shall chase 10,000’ Deut. 32:30.  This law means that, when you join a group, you add extra ninety percent to your abilities and success. Joining a group offers you a 90% additional power.

If you want respect, support and adoration from many people read this

This is what Great men do.

Our society endows people with power when they fill certain positions. In the family it is often the father, he has the most respect; he is the bread winner. There church leader has the major share of respect and garner lots support. In our nation, we have the president who has every arsenal at his disposal and this is bestowed on him by the people.

For some of us we may not be in these positions but we can also enjoy greatness. There is an underlying principle that relinquishes such power and reverence in people within certain positions.
In life there are laws and principles, things don’t just happen because everything is by design.

How to increase your ministry exponentially and perpetuate it

You train the people to bring you the world

2 Kings 2: 1- 14 (NKJV)

One of the cardinal points of Jesus's ministry is how He increased his ministry exponentially and perpetuated it. Jesus spent 33 years on earth and not all the years did He use to preach but his ministry has lasted thousands of years and it’s still strong and permeating every part of the earth. Every believer should have this same effect. God doesn’t intend that our ministry die with us like a one man business. Recently when I attended a church service a pastor was sharing his testimony and he mentioned the name of the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa, and I have heard a number of men who a prominent in our time mention his name. I didn’t know that man but I am awed because if these great men are mentioning him as their mentor, it says a lot about him; that is a great legacy.

Vision Carriers

You need people to help you fulfill your mission in life, no one can do it alone, not even Jesus

 Genesis 11:1-9

Nimrod is a character in the bible who surprises me a lot. He is the man who led the people to build the tower of Babel that drew God’s attention.  Whatever his intentions were, his vision was clear and he needed a solution. He wanted to build a house that got to heaven. Am sure he sat and thought about many things, ‘do I need money or machines?’ But he picked the right tool that almost worked for him.

How to fulfill your destiny with the help of people

Whatever your dreams are, you can never achieve it without people. (picture source: emerging truths dot com)

Recently, I attended a church programme at Light House Chapel and the people there were massive. On the final day, I was a bit late and couldn’t have a place to sit and even to hear what the man of God was saying, I was so angry I wanted to live for my house but I could not because I have never gone to church and returned home because of anger. People still thronged in and I forced myself to stand outside and strain my ears to listen to what was been preached. Though lots of people were not hearing, they were still there; people love big things. These big churches are building universities, hospitals, radio stations, businesses, and  buying airplanes and everything you can think of. It then occurred to me that in our world the greatest are those with the biggest audience.
