Sexual Sin; How to be set Free from Masturbation (part 2)
Masturbation (M) is one of those
things that is secret among people because they do it in their privacy. This
practice has many consequences. M is the stroking of a person’s genitalia with
the intention of deriving sexual satisfaction from it. It has several fanciful
names like ‘whacking off’ ‘chocking the chicken’ ‘or ‘burping the nephew’;
nevertheless it is still self-stimulation with intention of achieving orgasm.
While this is a controversial
matter, before I can treat it as sin which I am going to do in this article,
whether it is wrong or right depends on the person’s motive. For example where
a doctor asks a person to do it because they need a sample of the sperm (if it
is a man) to do diagnosis for every the strength of the sperm, you can’t call
that one sin. However, if one M with the purpose of deriving sexual
satisfaction, now, that one is sin. In this article, am treating M as sin
because that is what it is. Some doctors insist that it is safe and normal thing
to do but this ‘safe’ act can degenerate into compulsiveness or interfere with
the daily life or affect ones relationship with God and with partner. For this
matter, I will stand against it all time.
It starts when the person has a
libido and is finding a way to satisfy that sexual urge. In the beginning it
might not be compulsive but at the end or after sometime it becomes compulsive,
a habit. I believe it is taken over by demons when it becomes addictive and the
person cannot stop anymore. Perhaps soon, the person begins to see herself as
beautiful or becomes aroused when the person sees his or her genitals; other
people to watch pornography and use it do it. Demons or evil spirits don’t have
bodies and they will use a person’s body once they enter. They enter the person
when they see he or she practicing or when there is sin in the life of the
person or through other means of association, example, and unwholesome
friendships.
When a demon gets involved at
this stage, if the person thus not receive any deliverance, it cannot be
stopped. Even if the person is hurting from it, that person will continue to do
it because that person has lost control, a diabolical being has got involved.
Consequences of Masturbate
The consequences for these
practices is spread across many areas’;
1. Guilt;
once the person does it, he or she may feel guilty. At least the person will be
convicted by the Holy Spirit that it is wrong. Now here the person will confess
it but finds himself repeating it again and again. Thus the guilt is still
pending. This breaks the person’s prayer life or may even affect any move that
will make that person get close the presence of God. Like Adam and Eve, people
like that run away from the presence of God whenever he shows up. If you run
away from God it means your problem is getting hopeless by the day because the
only person who can save you is the same person you are running away from.

2. Marital
Failure; M has the power to break relationships and even marriages. The reason
is simple, the person is able to receive satisfaction from M and when the other
partner wants sex they have lost the drive for it. Even if they participate in
it they are just doing it but not there with their partner. Sexual intimacy is
one of those things that is meant to bring people together, once it is been harmed
like that the couple keep moving away from each other. Remember that demons are
involved at this stage and therefore will do everything to repel the other
partner.
There are those
who might have problem getting into relationships because they can have their
own sex with themselves. They’ve learnt that the feelings that they need to get
from the other person can be found in themselves, why else should they follow
another person? Therefore they become their own partner! You look at them and
you see that they are almost past the period of marriage and they don’t care,
false celibacy.
3. Compulsive
and chronic; having sex with a partner is not an easy thing to have because you
need the other person’s consent. However, once a person is doing it with
himself it means that you can have lots of freedom and therefore this happens
very often. Lots of sickness can be got from this. There can be psychological
problems and physical problems as a result. Indirectly it can lead to loss in a
loss of finances among others. That person may want to quit but find himself
enslaved. Those who practice it and do it more know that they are under slavery
and are powerless towards it.
4. Shame;
I think one of the worse things about it is the shame that surrounds the
person. Obviously people don’t want to be found out and when no one knows about
this practice, they are always ashamed of themselves. Shame can induce lots of
psychological problems including inferiority complexes like Adam running away
from the presence of God. When you feel ashamed you feel it is sin. Man will
say it is right but God through your spirit will tell you that it is wrong, you
might try to psych yourself up but the shame will not go away it will be
persistent telling you that it is dirty and sinful! Repent!!
