Am continuing with my questions
What was the stumbling block?
I am sure that the ark stumbled or try to fall because of a big pothole or a slippery ground or a sharp - valley.
The potholes represents potholes in our paths as christians. We see it everyday as many people fall while carrying the ark, the glory of God in their lives. We carry the ark, gifts, anointing and yet many are falling.
I want to use this opportunity to talk to my fellow brothers and sisters who use faith to overlook potholes in their paths. Once they hear a message they don't sit to think properly about it because it is coming from some world prophet.
The bible can be used to support anything, Satanists even use the books of moses to support their evil deeds and it works for them. Please lets be careful how we use those scriptures. I once heard that a preacher read from the bible that 'we are gods'. Immediately he formed a cartel and made the people to worship him and to end this story he poisoned all those 1000 members! Wasn't it a few years ago that a pastor in south Africa made his congregation to chew grass like sheep? I think I wrote an article about it and its on this website.
My friends there is a trap set by the enemy against believers. I have noticed certain sweet sisters who cross the motorway carelessly and say that they cannot die because they walk in faith! It is this careless behaviour that has ingrained our character making us a prey to Satan.
Please when we read our bibles lets not close our minds to common sense, lets ponder deeply.
BELIEVERS TODAY REFUSE TO SEE THAT THERE ARE POTHOLES THAT CAN MAKE THE ARK STUMBLE.
As a budding preacher, because I don't have a name like other big wig pastors, when I try to expose these stumbling blocks by preaching deliverance messages, other ministers would purposefully make me their preaching topic and lambast me. But I won't stop because I have to expose those potholes and point christians to it and say 'sister, if you sleep with that womanizer you would be impregnated with demons through and through!'.
2 Corinthians 2
11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.
It means that when we don't know the tools of the enemy we give him advantage over us. The enemy has automatic advantage over people because they know nothing about him and he is using it to the maximum. Ignorant christians fight an unseen enemy. When you can't see the trap how can you escape it?
The ESV bible uses OUTWIT instead of advantage. It implies that ignorance of demons and their traps and so on will help them to outwit you all the way. There are christians who can't differentiate the voice of demons and the Holy Spirit and they are going about giving false prophecies. Others too can't tell the difference between false prophets and the good ones. They can't even interpret their own dreams.
God is looking for preachers who will expose satan's traps. Trust me, it takes Holy Ghost serious preachers to see the devil's traps and expose them, the guy has been around over two thousand years. Those who don't pray because they believe they are super human are blind to the devils potholes and first class victims.
Despite our anointing or ark, the devil has potholes, pretty women, lies, betrayals in our paths to trip us. Look at the divorces that our spiritual fathers are going through, man of God and woman of God with all their many years in the Lord and massive churches worldwide are tripping. Lets read our bible with open eyes.
Lets not get over confident at all.
