Historical Evidence has shown that an anointed person is not immune to falling
My friends I want to paint the picture as to how the ark stumbled.
The ark is very powerful because it contains the glory of God and it is capable of bringing great blessings to you should it be kept in your house.
And so anointed men of God are blessed! People give them respect because they are the oracles of Jehovah, they are given gifts and adhered to without questioning. It is here that many men of God have mistaken because when we want to have only YES MEN surrounding us we shall surely fall for we are not immune to falling. This is why there are men of God and yet churches are collapsing and members are not been helped.
When members want to talk we scare them that they will be cursed as it happened to Miriam Moses sister. And so associate pastors and members see us err and say nothing till we stumble! Our favorite message 'no democracy in Christianity' must change. Question a brother doing wrong and it is the same members who will accuse you and massacre your reputation, you have made a permanent enemy in them. This is why the ark stumbled with 30,000 armed men watching! Men of God are carrying the ark and yet going down!
Who were the culprits? Who made the ark fall?
The main culprits my friends are the two brothers and the horse that was drawing the cart.
These three should have been responsible and hardworking but alas! They were negligent. Who are they in our days?
They are the head pastor and the main leaders, the three most important people in the group that mans the church. I tell you when a ministry collapses lets hold the pastor and his two main assistants accountable. They are the Uzzah, Ahoi and the horse. I am preaching a terrible message today someone might be saying but is it not TRUE? When the flood killed men and women in Ghana didn't we blame the president and his cabinet?
My point is that pastors we may give excuses and play blame games as to why our churches are not growing but it is our fault, I won't mince words. As long as we don't take responsibility for our mistakes deliverance will be denied us.
Men of God are responsible for the stumbling of the ark; we are responsible for the decadence in the morality of church members, its our fault that christians are backsliding, we are the reason why there are fewer miracles in the church!
When we are the ark bearers and it stumbles, it is our fault because we have become bad drivers!
Let us rise up and consecrate ourselves unto the Lord. Lets have more prayer vigils and not be selfish in our prayers. Lets draw closer to members and listen to them. This is how we can reduce the evils around us. We are the light of the world and if we hide our light then darkness shall take charge.
Lord have mercy.
