Preamble
Long ago the Lord let the Israelites fashion a box called the ark of the covenant. This ark contained the anointing or glory of God, the Lord had plans for this ark. The Israelites used it in war and worn, the philistines stole it and it cast their god onto the floor and broke it.
Soon men decided to monopolize the glory.
Few people kept it for their benefit. You know God, everything he does is for all his children.
Something happened.
How many of us have a gift from the Holy Spirit or a call which God wants to use to bless the world and we are procrastinating?
God let me make money small, please let me finish school, I beg you God let me marry, Lord am not sure it is you who is speaking oooo, Lord let me think about it!!! YOU ARE KEEPING HIS GLORY TO YOURSELF, hahaha.
I tell that some people are sinning but the angel of God is protecting them because the ark or glory in them must come to fruition.
Its funny with all the fanciful messages been preached around the globe, but God kills, he rejects, he transfers a commission and its associated blessings. When you hear this statement, 'his bishopric let another man take!' remember that, if it happened in Jesus ministry then it can happen in any ministry and its still happening.
And so Uzza paid with his life; God sending a cool but clear message; you don't joke with his glory.
With the end of the daily devotion EXPOSITION ON THE BOOK OF ESTHER, comes a new one WHEN MEN TOOK HIS GLORY TO THEMSELVES.
You and I shall enjoy it morning by morning as we drink lessons from the HolySpirit the greatest teacher on earth.
