The flesh has no place in God
In the chapter 6 of 2 Samuel 6, Uzzah committed his historical mistake, the cart was about to fall so he put forth his hand to touch it, he touched God with the arm of flesh and God killed him. This presupposes that God didn't want any flesh to touch the anointing because 'in my flesh is no good thing'.
The flesh always invalidates the purest
work of God. Read what God's word says directly about the flesh;
Galatians 5:19 -21
Now the WORKS OF THE FLESH are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Just one work of the flesh is enough to collapse a church! For instance gossiping or painting people black or back biting has destroyed many years of hard church work. The problem might not be huge but this flesh tool amplifies it. That is why God doesn't want it near his work or his children.
Anyone who uses the flesh 'shall not inherit the kingdom of God'. This is not a heaven matter, you miss your success right here on earth. I have seen friends use manipulation to get their work done, but no matter how foolish a person is if you use dubious means to control him someday he will see through it and wise up. Some employers don't pay their employees well, some people too mistreat their friend who stays with them because of accommodation problem, the list is endless.
THE FLESH HAS NO FUTURE.
THE FLESH WILL DISGRACE ITS USERS.
Why do we use the flesh?
1. Ignorance; some people think they can get away with it. Its a deception when we think we get our away with punishment by asking for forgiveness.
2. Impatience; we can't wait for long to have our own.
3. Over Ambitious; we can't accept that all hands are not equal.
4. Carelessness; sloppiness would get us into serious trouble, its not always that we should play.
The lesson is glaring for all to see, in God's work when we touch it with flesh he won't even warn but kill immediately. God will allow a ministry to collapse, a man of God to die, a blessing denied, someone sent to jail, etc when we walk in the flesh.
May the Lord have mercy on us all. Amen
