This Sunday I spoke about THE NAME AND PERSON OF JESUS. I asked everyone a question; I said, "What do you have?" Some were saying, clothes, mother, father, etc, but none mentioned the name of Jesus.
Imagine you were not allowed to use the name of Jesus again! Or they ask you to choose between a car range rover and the name of Jesus, which one would you prefer?
The name of Jesus will bring you salvation. You are not sinner anymore and you will go to heaven Acts 3:16
You have been set free from the consequences of sin being sickness, poverty,broken heart. Captivity etc Isaiah 53 & 61
You have Jesus who comes to deliver you in the day of trouble and answer your prayers Psalm 91:14-16
SO WHAT MUST WE DO FOR THE NAME OF JESUS TO WORK FOR US? ROMANS 10:8-10
Faith: The name of Jesus will work for us when we mention it in faith. Believe that it works.
AND HIS NAME THROUGH FAITH IN HIS NAME HATH MADE THIS MAN STRONG....

The name of Jesus will work for is when we love God. Ps 91:14-16
The name of Jesus will work for us when we mention in prayer.
We should also confess it and hallow it.
We should see the name of Jesus as G-d's gift to us. At the Beautiful gate Peter and John had nothing to give to the cripple but the name of Jesus and that man who had been sick since childhood walked! Read the story in Acts 3.
THE NAME OF JESUS NEVER LOSES IT'S VALUES AND POWER. THIS NAME IS MY GREATEST POSSESSION IN LIFE, when I mention it, Jesus, Holy Spirit and Angels come to the scene. This powerful name is more important than anything I can ever own in life.
Lack of knowledge on the revelation of Jesus and everything concerning Him makes christians spiritual babies and satan defeat them in life. But I taught my congregation these holy teachings because it would make them grow spiritually!
