How anger can make you miss the move of God
Am going to tell you my story and though it is a short one I hope it blesses you. Am telling this story because I believe when David was enlisting the 30,000 men some people got angry and stayed out, lets be realistic, this can be the case because it happened to Jesus, people got angry and left him.
In 1995 to 1998 I began the spirit of Excellence fellowship (SEF) at Lapaz. It started from school and grew to nine fellowships, we used to go to crusades at lorry stations and travel away to places like Asaman for outreach. I was about 18yrs or 20yrs. We were doing great but also had our share of difficulties. I think the nine fellowships or cells were made of close to 200 members in total.
I should have continued but I quit not because I backslid as it happens to most people; I got angry. I had a disagreement my spiritual trainer and I was so infuriated that I decided to quit to punish him. Despite all the protests, my friends couldn't get me to not only come back but to preach again. This happened when I was in JHS and when I got to SHS at Odogonno Secondary around 2007 and 2000, the student union (SU) chased me with the leadership position from form one to form three but I didn't mind them; that was how stupid & stubborn I was.
By the time we completed SHS not only did I not graduate ( I didn't write my exams), my anointing had also left. Then it took me 8yrs before I got back into school and 12 years to get back into ministry.
When I came back into ministry (with casualties) some of my friends who used to call me brother Claus while I was their leader had made it somehow. Some had built their house, others their churches and even had their cars.
When God calls you to join the camp to bring the ark home you don't get angry and leave, you will miss the manifestation of his blessing. I quit to the disadvantage of most people, I heard some ladies had teenage pregnancy and some backslid, my trainer also had his share.
I see people in groups doing what I did many years ago. They won't work hard in the position given them, they don't add anything but they still hold on to leadership positions, the worst of all is that some quit entirely. They forget that ministry is not only a human entity but a spiritual entity headed by God!
My friend, those who don't work but lazy while in their positions and those who quit will definitely be dealt with by God.
See the bigger picture and do the work of the ministry, it is a privilege that God has called you, its real honor because there is no work than the work of God. Don't be fooled that it is voluntary and free, do it well and he will bless you with money and a place in heaven. But if you don't your place could be in hell because peoples blood will be on your hands.
IF GOD CALLS YOU AND YOU TURN HIM DOWN, SMALLNESS SHALL ALWAYS BE YOUR PORTION AND HELL!
Lord am back to stay! All that am going through in ministry is a small price to pay for what you will give to me!!
