| An amazing year awaits you! |
In 2014 whatever you are going to witness in your life is going to help elevate you to new heights.
What has been poured into our spirit is huge and we are supposed to deliver. However, lots of adverse situations seem to militate against us. Yet God has his own way of turning it to our good and He has a way of using that same situation to deliver the results that we fight to achieve. When it seems you are failing, then that is when you are succeeding.
There are numerous examples like that in scripture.
When a new pharaoh appeared in Egypt, he saw that the Israelites were multiplying in numbers more than the Egyptians. So he planned to use diabolic strategies to curb their growth. But it is said that ‘the more they afflicted the Israelites, the more they multiplied’. Finally, this aided God’s nation to move to their promised land.
When John was put in hot oil and he will not die, he was thrown into the island of Patmos and that is where he wrote the book of Revelation. Your hot oil and Patmos will bring the fulfillment of God’s prophecies over your life.
Samson had his eyes removed after his hair was shaven. They made him commit a taboo and the Spirit departed from him, for he said, ‘I will go out as other times, and he wist not that the Spirit has departed from him’. In time, his hair grew again and ‘the people he killed in his final days, where more than he had killed his entire life’.
When Elijah faced the prophets of baal, it was a big challenge. The one who will make fire come from heaven will have proved that his God is the real God. Then the prophets of baal after all their chants and cutting themselves with knife, could not make fire come from heaven and consume their sacrifice. When it was Elijah’s turn, they poured gallons of water on the wood in an attempt to frustrate the work of God. But the amazing thing is that, the water rather helped to light the fire, because ‘the fire licked up the water’. The water became petrol and helped the sacrifice to burn.
You are going to do amazing things in this New Year, but you are not going to use your strength to do it. Scripture says, ‘not by power nor by might but my Spirit says the Lord’; ‘for by strength shall know man prevail. Paul said ‘I rejoice in my weakness, for when I am weak then am made strong’.
Don’t fall into the trap of using your own strength for anything. Using your strength involves using your own plans and purposes at the exclusion of the Lord’s. When you listen to the Lord and obey him then he is going to back you to succeed.
The secret is to keep on burning. Your strength is in burning in the Lord, thus, you have to be fervent in the spirit. Build yourself in the Lord. Be connected in the Lord so that when He speaks, you will hear and obey. When you are hot in the Lord too, you give Him permission to function through you miraculous. In this new year, don’t joke with your prayer and fasting and the word, as a believer, it is your only hope for victory.
Your troubles may rise but the more they increase so will your break through. If Jesus had not been killed He will not have been our savior today. It is through death that you can rise in victory. ‘Had they known, they would not have killed the Lord of glory’, this is how the heavenly father uses to win the devil all the time. So he said ‘all things work together for good to them that love the Lord’. ‘The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord’.
2014 will be your best of years in Jesus name!
