Am not the greatest of those who prophesy and I don't even have a tittle yet - you can see it on my posters. Yet I can prophesy in detail.
One of my secrets is intercession. Even if you are not in the office of a prophet you can also prophesy like one. As you PRAY for people you begin to see their problems. Why? Because the Holy Spirit must show you the most pressing area in Peoples lives to pray for.
In two alnights ago, I wanted to know about the people who come to me for prayers, so I started praying for them around 2am. I picked them one by one. It wasn't long when I started picking things in the spirit. For instance, I saw that one member had problem in her background which affected her prosperity. The more I prayed the more the Lord showed me the gravity of the situation and finally the Lord showed me how she can break that situation.
This man also who called me and said his documents had been stolen, after praying for Him several days I saw more than I wanted to see, documents that have been lost several months appeared fast - he just got a phone call that he should come for them.
Many pastors who are not prophets prophesy this way. However, if you are not a prophet and you try to use this means to prophesy you can get into serious error. At best Intercession can help you to see a problem in the spirit and pray against it or give counsel.
Similarly, if someone proposes to you and you don't know them you can know their character by prayer, whether they are in relationship or not. Use this strategy in business deals.
