You believe money will change your life, so it controls your life and make you lead a life that you would naturally not. You are counting on money so you live a greedy life.
Someone also believe His prayers and fasting would make him great, so prayer is his God and it makes him live a certain kind of life.
But money and prayer is not God, they will fail you some day.
Don't mistake certain things for God, nothing can replace God.
You say you follow God but you are lying, you are following something else. That thing is your God, it will fail.
Time to live everything to God and be original and trust Him to make you whatever he wants you to be.
If you are counting on your boyfriend, husband or wife, money, hard work, etc then you are done for.
It is because of these things that you don't live right, you are hurting people, disobeying God, or living a crooked life.
