Walk with God in obedience, refuse to walk your way because you are not in charge but he is.
Practice True spirituality and not religion. True spirituality is living your life daily by the dictates of the Holy Spirit while religion is just following structures (eg. Going to church, preaching) and walking in disobedience. Religion is Christianity without 'a heart' and while spirituality is 'the heart' itself. Religion competes with politics because it has brought civil wars, killings etc.
Go for the future, go for reward, go for true worship.
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
