Why the enemy gets the upper hand
Every incident in life is preceded by another. Before the rain carried some Ghanaians to eternity, there were small gutters constructed, then the gutters got choked when some wise neighbours made it their business of throwing their waste into those gutters. The AMA too didn't put much effort to stop this behaviour nor did they remove the sands and waste from the huge drains. Now when it rained and people die we say God gives and takes?
So who put the potholes there?
Am sure that fateful day David and his men didn't give much thought to the overused road and having used it like that for many years they didn't see that it was there till the ark stumbled and led to Uzzah's death.
We are the people who put the potholes there or better still we make the potholes a snare to us. Lets not blame Satan only, he just exploits the situation.

When you possess the devils tools then he will use that as a bargaining chip. If you are a pastor and you know that you are not rock but blood runs through your veins and you breathe air and when air blows you feel it, this sister comes to your room everyday when you are in your room alone, don't you think demons will exploit the situation? Its only a matter of time that something starts whispering into your ears, 'oh, how beautiful those legs are, she wants it like you do, nobody will know!'.
But its only a matter of time that the secret will come out destroying your credibility, you may give excuses but people won't believe you again.
Lets shun every pothole. Everything that the devil can use against us should be removed.
We have to avoid carelessness. When the THREAT is there but you say you don't care, someday you will care. We should walk with this maxim that prevention is better than cure.
Gone are the days when we used to say, 'if it isn't broken don't fix it'. Now we don't wait for it to spoil, we are maintenance minded. Keep your relationships from trouble, certain visits are unnecessary, not all foods should be eaten, dress well, etc. My point is that we should play it safe so that the enemy doesn't have the opportunity.
