Sunday Message

Using the Book of Nehemiah I spoke on Sanballat and Tobia this Sunday 15/01/2017.

But it came to pass that, when Sanballat heard that we were building the wall, he was wroth, and took great indignation, and mocked the Jews.
-Nehemiah 4:1

These two government officials opposed Nehemiah in every way possible.  They were angry, indignant and mocking of God's people.

When you are on the verge of building your broken walls some people will fight you. They will be angry that you are trying make advancement in your life. They will say bad things to you and make you feel you are nothing. Yes these are the Sanballats and Tobias'.

You have to understand opposition is in every level of life; marriage, business, ministry, and so on.
Don't look at the haters! Look upon Jesus for your vindication. Be wise with certain people you call your friends who call you 'bosu' and yet secretly seek your downfall. Today you are buying food and clothing for them but they hate you. These haters are in the church, some are pastor friends or even family friends you have known for years. Some people act like there are no jealous people, betrayers, backbiters, etc. Who betrayed Jesus? Who killed Abel? Who gave Samson away? Which King plan to cut off Elisha's head? Which brothers sold Joseph into slavery?
You see history is littered with these examples. If we refuse to learn these repeat themselves.

Be wise and discerning because your future depends on it.

WHAT DOES THIS SCRIPTURE MEAN TO YOU?
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
-Matthew 16:24-27

SERVING GOD WITH ASSOCIATIONS

When God called me I was young and didn't know many things. I was innocent like a child. All I knew was prayer and the anointing plus ministering.
Today ministry has become very sophisticated for us. Ministry has become very complicated. When I see am called, I should be able to prophesy some, should be rich, maybe own a church, travel to preach at UK or USA, and so on.
Young men who are called and don't have the above begin to fake it or scheme for it. So there are by force prophets in town today or false prophets I should say. Some have collected evil powers, others too prophesy by using true caller applications and tricks (the real prophetic gift they don't have).
People are doing everything for a large crowd, money etc.
Today it seem that true missionaries who preached and had no thought of riches aren't around.  WE HAVE DEFINED THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR OUR CALL, AS IF WE CALLED OURSELVES.
Yes today, if the Lord asked a young man to start a church and pastor only eight members for a long time, that person won't. If the Lord put him in the village that person would rather join a big church and be associate pastor and sit in air condition and take big salary. Stomach pastor, money seeker, faithless preacher.
WE HAVE ASSOCIATED OUR TRUE CALL WITH WORLDLY GOODS. Some don't preach the gospel of Christ again, they wont have money or be popular men and women. Today they have become motivational speakers and earn big bucks and claim they are blessed. In the eyes of the world you are blessed but in The Lords eyes you have deviated.

The call of the Lord is not same for all of us. Some will prophesy some will not. Some will have big churches others small churches. Not all ministers will travel to preach at America, some are for remote areas and villages.

G-d's dealings with us are never the same.
John the Baptist you are going to wear camels hair and eat locusts and dwell in the hot sun of the desert. I the lord will still let people visit you. John please speak against the sins of Herod, keep him straight even though he will use your head as gift.
Elisha, go and stay in that persons house for a Long time, don't accept all the gifts that comes to you except a few, let that general take his money away (todays preacher can't even reject a gift if the lord ask them to, they'd take it and get cursed like Gehazi).

Let's stop comparing our ministry with others
Lets stop associating ministry with cars, houses, travelling, money, etc.
Lets be true to our call, winning souls and catering for them.
Lets believe God for our needs.
If we travel to America in process of service praise G-d!
If we become rich through service hallelujah!
If our gifts become outstanding Amen!
First things first.
Seek first the kingdom!

Never dilute your call.

Today, 'am living by faith' is no more in our dictionary. Preachers scheme for their needs rather than trust God for their needs.

Lord help us.

When the Odds is against you

LOOKING AT THE ODDS IN LIFE, YOU MIGHT WONDER IF YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES, WHETHER YOU TOO CAN ACHIEVE SOMETHING WITH YOUR LIFE.
BUT G-D'S WORD SAYS CLEARLY THAT HE HAS GIVEN US EVERYTHING THAT WE NEED FOR OUR DREAMS TO COME TRUE. EVERYTHING!
DON'T LOOK AT THE RESOURCES YOU HAVE NOW, LOOK AT THE WORD, G-D NEVER LIES.
YOU WILL ACHIEVE YOUR BEAUTIFUL DREAMS IN JESUS NAME. AMEN.

According as his divine power hath GIVEN UNTO US ALL THINGS THAT PERTAIN UNTO LIFE AND GODLINESS, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
Whereby are GIVEN UNTO US EXCEEDING GREAT AND PRECIOUS PROMISES: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
