AM VERY GLAD TODAY (16/10/'16) because service was greatly anointed by the Lord. As a young church the children are many but I love this work. God takes care of my family.
Today I shared on Matthew 16:13-19. Jesus wanted to know people's opinion about him. THEY COMPARED JESUS TO ELIJAH, JOHN THE BAPTIST AND JEREMIAH. Now this is cool. Even in our days how many pastors have been compared to Elijah? How many preachers can call fire from heaven? WE HAVE TO WORK HARD TO GET INTO THE HEART OF THE PEOPLE,WHEN THEY RESPECT US THEN THEY WILL TAKE OUR WORDS AND GOD SERIOUS.
But Jesus knew that was the understanding of the outward people so HE wanted to know what his disciples (those closer) thought about him, Peter said Jesus was the Christ! Jesus liked been seen as a saviour, a helper, a servant.
Job 36:11 Will tell you that if you obey and serve God prosperity and pleasure will be yours.
